...“Let’s take them on a detour and play a little truth or die.” Michael looked over at Hector who had the same evil grin Michael was flashing his way. He took the next exit from the expressway. Michael knew there was an abandoned office building not too far from the exit. He pulled in the back way and told Hector to stay put. “If you hear me fire, get in the driver’s seat and be ready to book it out of here when I jump in.” Hector understood and watched Michael’s silhouette get swallowed by the shadows.
Michael heard an engine cut off nearby. He knew whoever was following had finally found a place to stash his car. He hid in a dark corner, handgun draw, ready to catch him by surprise. He heard footsteps approaching him from the left. Michael peered quickly around the corner, but couldn’t make out who it was. The shadowed figure crept along slowly, and just when he passed Michael’s spot… He came out from behind him, his left arm wrapped around the guys throat, his right hand holding the gun to the guy’s temple. “Nice night for a stroll, ain’t it?”

Bianca caught her breath, but her heart was still beating a mile a minute in her throat. She gasped for air as she spoke. “I couldn’t go. I knew you were planning something, and I didn’t want to be left out. How could you guys not let me stay to help?”
“Damn it, B, we didn’t want you to get hurt.” Michael started pacing as he returned his gun to the back of his jeans. “You should have gone to New York . This is too dangerous for you to be involved in. If we get caught your career would be over. I don’t want that to happen.”
Bianca lowered her head. She knew what she did was stupid, and that it would probably ruin her reputation, but Manny and the guys were all she had left. She wanted to be fighting along side them, but she also knew she wasn’t going to get the chance. Michael was very adamant about her being safe. “Can you at least tell me what’s going on?”
Michael quickly explained the situation, and walked her to her car. “Now, if you don’t mind, we’re behind schedule.” He kissed her and said good-bye...
